TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 21, 2017 Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will vie for work to provide technical services and field support for the U.S. Army‘s tactical unmanned aircraft systems and associated ground control stations and data terminals as part of a $900 million multi-award contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Wednesday the contract covers non-repetitive development, analysis and corrective action, inspection, integration, investigation and testing.
Tim Reardon, president of defense and intelligence at Leidos, said the company brings experience in aviation systems integration and field services in “austere overseas environments” in order to support Army TUAS operations.
