Lauren Sherry, an 18-year federal services market veteran, has been named chief strategy officer of Alexandria, Va.-based company Aptive Resources.
Sherry will aim to create a path forward for Aptive’s strategic growth and support the technology advancement efforts that can drive the strategy, the company said Tuesday.
Her corporate career includes time as vice president of strategy at SBG Technology Solutions; capture director at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS); and VP of capture and proposals at Halfaker and Associates and Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Systems Made Simple subsidiary.
She has led pursuit and implementation work on multiple government projects such as the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Enterprise Mobility Management initiative and the U.S. Air Force’s Service-Oriented Architecture program.
Aptive is a service-disabled veteran-owned and woman-owned company that offers organizational change management, program management, communications and digital services to the federal sector.
