Larry Honarvar , formerly a vice president at CGI (NYSE: GIB), has joined Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as a VP – cloud practice lead , according to a LinkedIn post published Thursday.
He assumed his new position following a six-year stint as VP of operations at information technology consulting firm NetCraftsmen, a subsidiary of BlueAlly.
Before joining NetCraftsmen, Honarvar led the delivery of software-as-a-service and managed services to state and local government customers as VP of operations and deputy director of SLG solutions at CGI. He was with the company for nearly a decade.
He joined CGI in 2004 as VP responsible for overseeing banking product development and management in the U.S.
Honarvar also held various roles in banking and managed services at American Management Systems for 11 years.
