L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has booked a potential five-year, $141.8 million contract from the U.S. Navy to manufacture common data link terminals for installation on surface combatant ships.
The service branch obligated $16 million at the time of award to procure Hawklink AN/SRQ-4 radio terminal sets, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Under the contract, L3Harris will develop, test, produce, deliver, and manage common Hawklink hardware. The company will also be responsible for post-deployment equipment support.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, cost-only award includes performance options that would extend work until April 2028.
