L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has secured a four-year, $482 million contract extension to provide fleet management services to the Canadian air force’s CF-18 Hornet fighter jets .
The company said Thursday it will continue to help manage the foreign aircraft program, materials, data, operational software, logistics process and electronic publications.
Work under the performance-based contract will occur at the company’s Mirabel facility in Quebec and Canadian airbases at Cold Lake and Bagotville.
L3Harris and its predecessor companies have supported efforts such as structural life-extension of systems modernization of Canada’s CF-18 aircraft fleet for 35 years.
The Melbourne, Florida-based defense contractor also provides F/A-18 support to the Canadian government.
