A subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has been awarded a potential five-year, $135.8M contract to develop and test an optronic sensor technology for U.S. Navy submarines.
L3 KEO will provide engineering and technical support for photonic masts under the cost-plus-incentive-fee contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The service branch will obligate $25.7M at the time of award.
Contract work will take place in Northampton, Mass., through June 2025.
