The company said Thursday its Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular system is designed to improve situational awareness and enhance soldier protection and mobility by directly delivering battlefield imagery and data to warfighters.
Lynn Bollengier, president of integrated vision solutions at L3Harris, said ENVG-B offers capabilities to the service’s close combat forces to help identify, evaluate and engage targets with greater speed and accuracy.
L3Harris has supplied more than 6,000 ENVG-B devices to the service branch as part of Directed Requirements contracts and the ENVG-B program of record, which is valued at $442 million.
The award is the second delivery order the Army has awarded to L3Harris under the ENVG-B program of record.
