AnL3 Technologies(NYSE: LLL)subsidiary has received a potential $195.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy for the provision of flight test instrumentation engineering and support services.
L3’s Interstate Electronics Corp. business will perform work at various locations across the U.S. and in U.K. under the sole-source contract that has a $45.4 million initial value, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
DoD noted the base period of performance will run through Aug. 1, 2020, and work could extend through April 1, 2023, if all options are exercised.
The obligated amount at the time of award comprises $1.1 million from the Navy’s fiscal 2018 maintenance funds and another $718,700 from the branch’s fiscal 2018 “other” procurement funds, as well as $555,095 from the U.K. government.
