L3 Technologies‘ (NYSE: LLL) electro-optical and infrared business has secured a potential $90 million contract to supply EO/IR sensors and features to the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will serve as a means for the service branch to procure L3-made MX suite of turrets and features.
The Air Force will provide $10,140 in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds to finance the initial order.
DoD noted the contract has a five-year base period of performance slated for completion Dec. 31, 2022, followed by a five-year option period.
