TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 22, 2016 The Transportation Security Administration has awarded L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) a $21 million order to provide security scanners to support passenger screenings at local airports, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The security and detection systems division of the aviation products and security sector under L-3s electronic systems segment will conduct services for the order, which will bring the number of ProVision systems implemented at U.S. aviation facilities to approximately 1000, L-3 said Tuesday.
