The U.S. Army has awarded L-3 Communications(NYSE: LLL) a 12-month, $216.4 million contract modification to continue to provide aircraft logistics support services to the military branch.
L-3 will perform the task in Madison, Mississippi and is scheduled to finish work by July 31 next year, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The Army Contracting Command obligated $162.3 million in fiscal year 2016 operations and maintenance funds at the time of the award.
