TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 24, 2018 Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) has concluded its work under phase two of a three-year U.S. Air Force study on the planned transition of a military satellite communications ground system to the “horizontally integrated” Enterprise Ground Services architecture, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday the four-phase pathfinder study focuses on the transfer of the Command and Control System – Consolidated‘s operation of 20 military satellites to the EGS, which is designed to be sustainable and resilient against threats in line with the Air Force’s Space Enterprise Vision.
