Melissa Jaffe, former senior adviser for data and analytics at Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, has joined KPMG‘s federal health practice to serve as director and provide leadership assistance in its advisory efforts focused on health regulation and policy, FedHealthIT reported Monday.
The executive brings to her new role over two decades of health care and financial analysis experience in the government and industry.
She spent eight years at CMS, most recently leading the agency’s team for policy analysis and data reporting at the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight.
According to her LinkeIn profile, Jaffe worked as senior vice president at Marwoord Group for over three years and as equity research analyst at Merrill Lynch for nearly six years.
