KPMG’s federal advisory practice has named 25-year FBI veteran Maria Voreh as a director and appointed Pamela Powers, Michael Westphal and Chad Poppell to managing director positions.
All four public service veterans will aim to help KPMG’s government clients transform business processes, the professional services firm said.
Voreh led the implementation of the FBI’s first enterprise data strategy in 2018 as its chief data officer and previously worked as an electrical engineer at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.
Powers is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel who most recently served as acting deputy secretary at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She spent more than three decades in the military and held senior-level positions at the Department of Defense.
Westphal’s career includes prior roles as deputy special presidential envoy at the State Department for arms control and chief operating officer of service-disabled veteran-owned professional services company Real Time 2.
Poppell previously served as secretary of the Florida Department of Children and Family Services and as industry client leader at IBM (NYSE: IBM), where he oversaw technology-based service offerings for state and local government customers.
“Pam, Michael, Maria and Chad bring extensive experience and deep insights about their fields and government that are critical to assisting our clients in today’s environment,” said Brenda Walker, federal advisory leader at KPMG.
“They augment our strong practice, and we will continue to invest in talented individuals who have the knowledge and skills that our clients value most.”
