Document management software provider GovOS has acquired Durango, Colorado-based business tax collection and licensing process automation company MUNIRevs | LODGINGRevs in a move to expand presence in the local government market.
The combined entity aims to offer integrated tools designed to help local agencies collect and process revenue from businesses, GovOS said Monday.
Established in 2011, MUNIRevs | LODGINGRevs has helped customers capture $1.55 billion in online taxes and fees.
“With the addition of MUNIRevs | LODGINGRevs, GovOS provides local governments with a comprehensive suite of digital services they can use to enrich and enhance the lives of residents and businesses alike,” said GovOS President Kevin Lafeber.
Kofile, a citizen access and engagement technology provider to local governments, launched GovOS in February to help clients transform paper-based processes into digital services.
