Klas Telecom has changed its name to Klas Government to mark the company’s efforts to expand capabilities in support of military programs and deliver deployable platforms that enable communications at the tactical edge.
"As a company, Klas Government has evolved, our tech has become much more advanced and its capability has exponentially increased,” Chris Ericksen, chief revenue officer at Klas Government, said in a statement published Friday.
“Telecom no longer defines us as we continue to expand our offerings. We wanted to update our branding to reflect that, so we're now Klas Government,” Ericksen added.
Klas Government is focused on providing military and government customers with rugged, low size, weight and power communications platforms to help them communicate in harsh, extreme environments. The company has offices in Herndon, Virginia, and Tampa, Florida, and offers a line of hardware, software and modules – Voyager – designed to meet the communication needs of military, government and public safety personnel.
