Kira Training Services has won a potential seven-year, $221.4M contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide civil engineering support to a military academy that trains officer cadets.
The company will repair and maintain facilities and infrastructure; manage engineering and installation operations; and oversee housing and emergency management functions at the Air Force Academy, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
The service branch received 12 proposals for the project and intends to obligate $100.1K in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds on Oct. 1.
Work will take place in Colorado through Nov. 30, 2025.
Boulder, Colo.-based Kira Training Services provides engineering, facilities maintenance and training support to public and private sector customers.
The company has helped maintain customer training and facilities as a subcontractor to Raytheon (NYSE: RTN).
