KGS said Thursday Danet’s appointment aligns with the company’s mission to advance artificial intelligence initiatives, innovation programs and growth strategy for federal customers. The move reflects KGS’s focus on accelerating AI adoption and mission-driven technology modernization across government agencies.
“Her decades of success leading large-scale technology operations for the DOD provide invaluable insights into the challenges our federal customers face. Her vision and leadership will be instrumental as we continue driving innovation and delivering solutions to support their missions,” said Carl Buffington, chief growth officer at KGS.
Danet will drive KGS’s AI strategy and lead efforts to expand the company’s AI capabilities. She will oversee initiatives to align emerging technologies with mission needs, strengthen Small Business Innovation Research programs, foster internal innovation through the Investment Review Board and and help federal customers implement secure, data-informed capabilities.
