The U.S. Navy has added KEYW Corp. (Nasdaq: KEYW) as an awardee on a potential $245 million contract for engineering and technical support to the information technology division within the Naval Research Laboratory.
KEYW will join the eight contractors initially awarded spots on the five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle earlier this week, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The Naval Research Laboratory’s IT division is focused on exploring technologies needed for the development of battle force warfare architectures and systems.
Work will be awarded via task orders and funded with the Navy’s fiscal 2016 working capital funds.
Twelve proposals were submitted for the program, which DoD says will run through May 22, 2021.
