Edward Peretin, interim president of EVC, said in a statement published Monday the expertise of Fahey and Tile will complement the existing members of the board as EVC continues to focus on activities in specialty coatings, manufacturing and sustainment, Advanced Guard for Information Security and file transfer cross-domain cybersecurity platform.
Fahey is president and chief operating officer of consulting firm Cypress International. He spent 34 years as a civil servant and previously served as assistant secretary of defense for acquisition, where he advised Department of Defense leaders on matters related to acquisition and development of command and control, space, tactical warfare and intelligence systems.
Tile is an adjunct business professor at Elizabethtown College and oversees his own consulting company LITE Advisors. He is a 42-year defense industry veteran who spent most of his career at BAE Systems. He retired from BAE in 2019 as director of programs for the company’s platforms and services operating group in York, Pennsylvania.
Other members of EVC’s board are Ed Sheehan, president and CEO of CTC; Russell Davis; Gary Slack; and Dale Mosier.
