Public sector veteran Kevin Davis has joined data security and management company Cohesity as vice president of federal sales, GovCon Wire has learned.
Prior to Cohesity, he was VP of public sector at analytics platforms provider Databricks and was responsible for expanding the company’s client base and strategic alliances.
Davis held a similar position for four years at Splunk (Nasdaq: SPLK) before moving to Databricks. He spent nearly a decade at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), where he served as area VP of the defense technology sales business.
He held sales leadership roles at Borland Software and Macromedia with a focus on the public sector.
