Lester Lyles, chairman of the KBR board, said in a statement published Wednesday the new appointees’ knowledge and experience in civilian, defense and other business sectors will provide the company with insights as it works to deliver technology-driven, sustainable offerings and grow the business.
Sabater currently sits on the board of PDC Energy while Stewart works for Ankura Consulting Group as chief innovation and business intelligence officer.
At Deloitte & Touche, Sabater held positions such as CEO for the company’s U.S. and global audit practices and managing partner for its North and South American businesses.
Meanwhile, Stewart previously led the DIA and served as deputy commander at U.S. Cyber Command. He is a member of The Aerospace Corp.‘s board of trustees
