Kay Kapoor, former president of AT&T's (NYSE: T) global public sector organization and a three-time Wash100 Award recipient, has been recommended by a committee of COMSovereign Holding's board of directors for appointment as an independent director.
COMSovereign said Monday it plans to elect Kapoor and increase the number of its directors to seven upon the closing of the Dallas-based telecommunication equipment provider's proposed public offering.
While at AT&T, she led the business segment that provides information and communications platforms to the federal, state, local government and education customers worldwide.
Kapoor is the CEO of Arya Technologies, which she also established in 2018 to offer technology consulting services provider to the public sector.
The three-decade industry veteran previously led Accenture's (NYSE: ACN) federal arm as chairman and CEO, and spent 20 years at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
She also serves as a Dean's Council member at Harvard Kennedy School and Johns Hopkins University, and on the board of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs
