Kay & Associates Secures $116M F/A-18 Maintenance FMS Contract Modification

Kay and Associates has secured a one-year, $116 million modification to a previously awarded U.S. Navy contract to operate and maintain Kuwait’s fleet of F/A-18 aircraft.

The company will perform organizational and intermediate-level maintenance, operation and management support services for the multirole fighter jets as part of the cost-plus-fixed-fee deal, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Kuwait will initially obligate $77.1 million on the award under DOD’s foreign military sales program.

Kay and Associates was one of the principal contractors for the $420 million sale of F/A-18 C/D support services proposed by Kuwait and approved by the State Department in 2016.
