Katy Mann, a professional with more than two decades of tech industry sales experience, has taken on a new role at Splunk as area vice president for federal civilian agencies, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Tuesday.
Mann most recently served as director of national security programs at the San Francisco-based company and led the delivery of its operational intelligence offerings to defense and intelligence customers.
She also spent time at Fusion-io as an account executive before joining Splunk in 2014 in the same role.
Prior to Fusion-io, Mann led cyber sales operations at Neustar (NYSE: NSR) and held similar federal-focused sales leadership positions at NetApp (Nasdaq: NTAP) and Composite Software.
She began her industry career in 1998 as a sales representative at SGI before serving in a related capacity at Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) with a focus on the Mid-Atlantic region.
