Katie Arrington’s Career Background
Arrington served as CISO within DOD’s Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment from 2019 to 2022. During her time at the Pentagon, she helped advance the department’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program.
Prior to rejoining DOD, she was senior vice president of external affairs at software development company Exiger, where she also served as VP of government affairs, according to her LinkedIn profile.
The former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives held leadership positions at several tech companies, including VP of sales operations for military and government at Dispersive Technologies, director of technology services at Centuria and VP at Catalyst Development.
