Katherine Byrd, a former director at Centra Technology , has been appointed vice president of federal civilian programs at consulting and technology services provider BayFirst Solutions , G2Xchange FedCiv reported Monday .
She brings more than one decade of organizational management, business process oversight, team building and policy and strategy development experience to her new position.
Before she joined Centra in 2013, Byrd held leadership roles at Ardent MC and U.S. Investigations Services .
She also worked at the Washington, D.C.-based National Crime Prevention Council earlier in her career.
Byrd holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University.
