She will step into the dual position Jan. 6 and replace Dale Atkinson, who will retire from NuScale after more than eight years of service, the company said Friday.
Feldman will report to John Hopkins, president and CEO of NuScale, and will oversee engineering, information technology, program management, quality assurance and regulatory affairs functions.
In her VP role, she oversees the company’s project portfolio and partnership with the Department of Energy.
Feldman joined NuScale in 2012 as a risk manager and went on to become director of planning and integration in 2016.
NuScale, in which Fluor (NYSE: FLR) holds a majority interest, became a publicly listed company in May following the nuclear reactor builder’s merger with blank check firm Spring Valley Acquisition.
