TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 13, 2016 Bob Fortna, vice president of Juniper Networks‘ federal defense sector (NYSE: JNPR), said federal agencies can adopt five key elements to streamline data center operations in order to meet future demands, Executive Gov reported Tuesday.
Fortna wrote in a guest piece published Monday on GCN that software-defined networks, automation, open standards, analytics and scalability will help build up federal data centers.
“[Data] centers will need to be modernized to accommodate everyone’s future needs, and those efforts must begin today, ” he said.
