She will be in charge of BIW’s IT organization, cybersecurity operations and corresponding customers, the company said Monday.
Berry was with Steward Healthcare System from 2011 to 2021 as CIO and chief technology officer. In her most role as senior vice president, she was responsible primarily for the data management and predictive analytics team.
She was also part of MaineHealth and served as chair of the Massachusetts Health Data Consortium as well as other boards and advisory committees.
“Julie’s focus on strengthening IT teams and capabilities to enable business optimization will modernize Bath Iron Works’ IT infrastructure and processes to meet the demands of on-time delivery of our Navy ships,” said GDBIW President Chuck Krugh.
