Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has secured a potential $93 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the U.S. Air Force engineer space systems.
APL will provide specialized research and development, systems engineering and technical support services to the military branch, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The lab is scheduled to complete work in May 2025.
The Air Force will obligate $7,500 at the time of the award from its fiscal 2018 research and development funds.
The Space and Missile Systems Center’s Space Superiority Systems Directorate is the contracting activity for the sole-source procurement effort.
