Johns Hopkins APL Gets $93M Modification on Air Force Systems Engineering Support Contract

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory will provide additional engineering support for U.S. Air Force systems under a $93M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract modification.

The bilateral modification follows a $93M initial award in May 2018 and brings the IDIQ’s cumulative value to $186M, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

APL will help the military branch engineer complex systems and provide research and development services.

Work under the modification will take place at Los Angeles AF Base through May 10, 2025.

The Space and Missile Systems Center is the contracting activity and will use fiscal year 2019 operations and maintenance; and FY 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 R&D funds on the award.
