Johns Hopkins APL Gets $100M DARPA Contract Modification for R&D, Engineering Support

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory will continue to provide engineering, research and development support services for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency under a potential $100M contract modification.

The Department of Defense said Friday the modification falls under a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, bringing the contract’s total face value from $98M to $198M.

The contract awarded in November 2016 seeks to support DARPA’s practical application of scientific and technical investigative findings or theories.

Work will occur in Laurel, Md., through November 2021 and could extend to May 2022 under the IDIQ task orders.
