John Walsh Joins SAIC as IT Market Segment SVP, GM; Tony Moraco Comments

John Walsh, formerly vice president of homeland security programs at CSRA, has joined Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as senior VP and general manager of the information technology solutions market segment.

He will succeed the retiring Dan Harris and report directly to Nazzic Keene, chief operating officer at SAIC, the company said Monday.

Walsh will oversee SAIC™s growth strategy with emphasis on digital infrastructure, cyber, end-user services and software offerings.

He spent a year at Newberry Group as executive VP of corporate development at CSRA, which General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) acquired for approximately $9.7 billion.

He also held leadership positions during his 16-year career at Computer Sciences Corp., which merged its public sector business with SRA International in November 2015 to establish CSRA.
