John Walsh, a more than 20-year industry veteran, has been named chief technology officer and chief information officer at ASRC Federal. He will be responsible for the companys corporate information technology strategy, enterprisewide technology platforms and business systems implementation, ASRC Federal reported Wednesday.
Mark Gray, ASRC Federal president and CEO and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said Walsh brings to the companys senior leadership team an extensive background in IT and technology platforms and experience leading federal and commercial IT groups in the U.S. and overseas.
He also served as VP of homeland security programs at CSRA, which is now part of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) IT business, and held leadership roles during his 17 years at Computer Sciences Corp.
