John Nixon
John Nixon, former budget director in the state of Utah and Michigan, has joined health information technology systems provider CNSI as a senior vice president, senior account executive and corporate strategy.
He will oversee the companys state health business programs in support of growth efforts, CNSI said Monday.
CNSI CEO and a 2019 Wash100 winner Todd Stottlemyer said Nixon brings to the company his leadership, budget expertise, strategic thinking and experience in state government technology.
“With his deep experience in the operations of state government, John will play a key role as we work to help our clients find innovative ways to achieve their mission, enhance business performance, and improve healthcare outcomes, Stottlemyer added.
Nixon served as director of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget for three years starting in 2011 and as budget chief in the state of Utah. He is former VP for administrative services at the University of Utah and a frequent speaker on matters related to government financial best practices.
