PAE has purchased Silver Spring, Maryland-based disaster response services provider Macfadden & Associates for an undisclosed sum.
Macfadden will expand PAEs customer reach, building upon the relationship PAE established with [the U.S. Agency for International Development] when PAE supported their response to the Ebola outbreak in 2015, PAE CEO John Heller said in a statement published Friday.

Heller added the acquisition complements PAEs work with the State Department and would help the Arlington, Virginia-based government services contractor broaden its portfolio of offerings and capabilities.
Macfadden has a workforce of approximately 300 employees in the Washington area and supports the U.S. governments disaster relief and humanitarian response missions through human resources, information technology platforms, communications and travel coordination support as well as financial, program and knowledge management services.
