Joe Brennan, formerly senior vice president and operations controller at Fluor (NYSE: FLR), has been promoted to chief financial officer at the Irving, Texas-based engineering and construction firm.
His appointment took effect July 22 and he succeeds the retiring Michael Steuert, who will stay at the company through the end of the year in a senior advisory role, Fluor said Friday.
“We are pleased to have the talent and knowledge of Fluor’s business that Joe brings to the CFO role,” said Fluor CEO Carlos Hernandez. “He is a strong leader who is equally dedicated to returning Fluor to a position of strength and leadership in our industry.”
