She will lead the execution of the company’s strategy and team focused on delivering services to customers in the federal health sector, HighPoint said Tuesday.
Bishop joined HighPoint in 2021 and has helped expand the company’s portfolio of contract vehicles and task orders and secure new contract work from federal health clients.
Jay Jones, president of HighPoint, said Bishop brings to the position her knowledge and experience in federal health and will be key as the company works to offer information technology and customer experience platforms meant to transform health care delivery.
Prior to HighPoint, she was VP of clinical services at Maximus‘ (NYSE: MMS) federal arm.
Her GovCon industry career also includes leadership roles at KPMG US, Optum, General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, Advoco, Encore Health Resources, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
She is president of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s National Capital Area chapter.
