Jim Patterson was elevated to the role of chief technology officer at CIS Secure and will be responsible for leading the technology team at the secure communication and defense services company.
CIS Secure said Patterson previously served as vice president of technology solutions at Intrepid Solutions and Services, which the company acquired in August 2022 to expand its technology products and service offerings for the U.S. intelligence community and defense market.
In his new role, Patterson will drive CIS Secure’s technological vision and strategy, promote innovation and oversee all of its technology direction. He will build on his experience in the defense technology sector to spearhead development and implementation of company offerings in support of its customers and partners.
“Jim has been an invaluable asset to our organization since he joined us. His dedication, technical prowess, and ability to drive results have set him apart,” said CIS Secure CEO Bill Strang. “As CTO, Jim will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology initiatives, and we are confident that he will continue to lead with excellence.”
CIS Secure is among the awardees of a potential $950 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for development and operation of systems across the ground, sea, air, cyber, electromagnetic spectrum and cyber domains as part of the Joint All Domain Command and Control program.
