The Wash100 list annually recognizes the most influential and impactful executives working in the government and government contracting sectors. This year, Demaree earned her first Wash100 Award for her dedication to strengthening the company’s workforce and advancing innovation in space.
“Our people are absolutely our greatest asset,” she said in an Executive Spotlight interview with Executive Mosaic. “We strive to build a dynamic and welcoming workplace that drives innovation, embraces diverse perspectives and encourages collaboration.”
“In that vein, my team started an initiative around working in classified spaces that is changing how classified employees experience the workplace, both with the tools to do their job, the work environment and culture,” Demaree added.
Demaree’s career with Lockheed Martin spans more than three decades, during which she has served in multiple executive roles and overseen many components of the organization. In her current position as VP and GM of special programs at Lockheed Martin Space, Demaree delivers systems and concepts to national security space customers.
