Jessica Garascia, formerly deputy general counsel at building materials provider USG, has joined AAR (NYSE: AIR) as general counsel.
She succeeds Robert Regan, who retired after a 12-year career with AAR, and will directly report to John Holmes, AAR president and CEO, as she oversees the company’s legal affairs, outside counsel and internal legal team, the company said Monday.
“We are excited to add Jessica to our strong leadership team. She will bring a fresh perspective and energy to both our legal and management team,” Holmes said.
Garascia was responsible for M&A activity, securities law, corporate governance and compliance during her tenure at USG. She started her career at law firm Jenner & Block as an attorney.
Wood Dale, Ill.-based AAR provides aviation and expeditionary services to government, defense and commercial clients and operates with more than 6K employees in over 20 countries.
