Jeff Showalter, chief development officer at technical consulting firm John H. Northrop & Associates, will join HII‘s (NYSE: HII) mission technologies division to serve as its vice president of operations, according to his LinkedIn post.
The executive has over 25 years of experience in providing professional services as a business consultant, lawyer, investor and organizational leader in the technology and defense industries.
Aside from his role at JHNA, Showalter also worked at FedBid as vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary, at Cisco Systems as corporate counsel and at Morrison & Foerster as an associate.
The executive was a finance officer serving in the U.S. Army earlier in his career.
