Jeff Garte, former senior vice president of corporate development at telecommunications services provider Hibernia Networks, has been named chief financial officer of Globecomm.
He will report directly to Globecomm CEO Jason Juranek and oversee accounting, taxation, financial planning and analysis, treasury and information technology functions in his new position, the company said Tuesday.
Garter will also support the executive team in efforts to implement the company’s growth strategies.
In his previous role, he led Hibernia Networks’ corporate development, financial planning and analysis and procurement efforts from 2013 until its acquisition by GTT Communications last year.
He also held financial leadership roles at Sterling Infosystems and AboveNet.
