Jeff Druessel
Jeff Druessel, former senior director of the national security space division at L3Harris Technologies’ (NYSE: LHX) applied defense solutions subsidiary, has been appointed vice president of strategic development at Riverside Research.
He brings more than three decades of defense and intelligence program management experience to his new position, the nonprofit research organization said Tuesday.
Steve Omick, CEO of Riverside Research, said Druessel will work with the nonprofit's leadership team to incorporate its open innovation concept strategy, personnel and facilities into one strategy to help defense and intelligence customers address missions.
Druessel worked at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) after he retired from the U.S. Air Force, where his career includes assignments within AF Systems Command and AF Research Laboratory.
His career at the military service began in1986 as a physicist.
He also led advanced spacecraft and other research-and-development efforts during his five-year tenure at the National Reconnaissance Office.
