Jeff Bohling, a government information technology services executive, has been elected by the board of directors of Empower AI to serve as CEO of the Reston, Virginia-based government IT and professional services provider.
He brings to the position over 20 years of experience leading businesses that deliver mission-critical tech platforms and services to the public sector and will oversee the company’s growth initiatives with a focus on operational execution and innovation, Empower AI said Wednesday.
“Jeff brings tremendous experience to Empower AI as a proven leader with an extensive track record of driving IT transformations and delivering mission-enhancing services for government customers,” said Andre Jakubowski, board member at Empower AI and director at KKR.
Bohling came to Empower AI from Peraton, where he served as president of the defense solutions sector. He previously worked at Perspecta, which was acquired by Peraton in 2021.
He spent 15 years at General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, where he supported federal civilian clients.
