Jeanne Callahan and David Chip Wasson, both formerly directors at Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII), have been promoted to corporate vice president roles at the shipbuilding company.
Callahan and Wasson will directly report to Chris Kastner, executive VP for business management and chief financial officer at HII, the company said Monday.
Callahan, formerly director of business management, contracts and government compliance at HII, will serve as corporate VP for internal audit and oversee the implementation of the firms audit plan.
David Wasson
She has held leadership roles at HII such as associate auditor at Newport News Shipbuilding division, manager of strategic planning and director of contracts administration.
Wasson, who has been director of corporate strategy since January 2017, has been promoted to corporate VP for corporate strategy and will lead HIIs strategic planning initiatives, business development and entry into new adjacent markets.
His career in the defense sector included roles as a consultant, senior investment banker and executive corporate leader.
