Jay Sultan, former vice president of health care innovation and strategy at Cognizant, has joined LexisNexis Risk Solutions‘ health care business as VP of strategy.
He will be responsible for developing the unit’s overall strategy, innovation, partnerships and market planning functions in his new position, LexisNexis Risk Solutions said Monday.
The two-decade industry veteran will report to Josh Schoeller, CEO of the LexisNexis Healthcare organization.
Sultan has worked with multiple health plans and delivery systems in areas such as clinical data utilization and interoperability, analytics and provider data management.
His other previous roles include principal strategic adviser on health care payment reform and payer/provider partnerships at Edifecs, chief product portfolio architect at TriZetto and chief informatics officer at MedAlign.
