Jason Weaver, chief solutions officer at SkyePoint Decisions for the last two years, has transitioned to a new role as chief technology officer of the Dulles, Virginia-based cybersecurity risk management services provider.
He will be responsible for technical direction and the development of approaches to help clients address emerging cyber threats, the company said Monday.
Frank Sturek, president of SkyePoint Decisions, said the promotion comes as the company looks to bring tailored platforms to federal government customers.
“The ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity and emerging threats requires an approach that is forward-thinking, anticipatory and aggressive,” Sturek noted.
Weaver holds professional designations such as TIBCO Streaming and Spotfire Certified Associate and Forrester Zero Trust Strategist.
