Jason Albanese
Jason Albanese, formerly vice president of business development for operations and logistics solutions at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has been appointed senior VP of business development within the company’s health group.
He will be responsible for overseeing the unit’s business strategy, establishing strategic partnerships and maintaining its pipeline for business opportunities, the company said Thursday.
“Jason’s engineering and program management background will serve him well in this new role as he partners with the existing health leadership team,” said Roy Stevens, Leidos executive VP and chief of business development and strategy.
Albanese spent nearly 16 years at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), where he previously led new business pursuit efforts within the information systems and global solutions business, which Leidos acquired in 2016.
He also led Lockheed’s business strategies focused on the defense, intelligence and homeland security markets.
